Disaster Planning

At ADDS we stress the importance of risk management to all of our customers no matter of their size. Every single organisation runs the risk that disaster could strike at any time through, flood, fire, employee acts, power cut or acts of terrorism and only a small selection of organisations spend any time developing a continuity plan and structure in the event of any form of disaster.

It is important to always remember that on average 40% of business stop trading within 72 hours after a disaster due to the lack of presence of a recovery plan and secondary backup system

ADDS believes that every organisation no matter how big or small should have some form of disaster recovery support service to remain trading following any business disaster.

SME

At Archive Document Data Storage we understand that SME's have lower budgets for disaster recovery. We do recommend that you arrange for one of representative to visit your premises to run through the required resources in a disaster recover situation.

Our most standard procedure for any SME is the disaster recovery crate

ADDS can supply your company with a disaster recovery crate on a day and time convenient to you. To this crate you can add back-up tapes, procedure manuals, business cards, letterheads, list of approved suppliers, insurance policy's, client contact information even a laptop. Once completed this crate will then be moved by our team into our offsite storage fire resistance area.

If disaster strikes at any time your company will merely request this crate for delivery and be up and running again in a matter of hours. Please also view our offsite data backup page.

Larger Organisations:

We strongly recommend to all of our larger corporate customers that an expert ADDS representative visits your premises for a full consultation service.

With this procedure our representative will spend a number of hours with your company and your individual department to assess your needs, monitor core processes and your core information in order to provide a tailored disaster recovery plan for your review.

If you prefer to maintain the consultation in-house ADDS can merely supply the materials and storage space required for your own design disaster recovery plan.
